Founded in 1978, Ballet Theatre of Maryland is Maryland’s premier
professional ballet company. Housed at Maryland Hall for the
Creative Arts in Annapolis, the professional company offers a
four-season series of performances in its home theatre and
tours throughout the state performing approximately 40-60
performances annually for approximately 25,000 people. The Ballet
Theatre of Maryland’s Conservatory of Dance is the only school in
Maryland that offers a fully comprehensive ballet training program
for the beginner student up to the professional dancer.
